۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 then happiness and delight and Gardens of Bliss are his. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
