▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are watching at that time 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
