▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and that hour you are watching 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
