▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
