Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
All that is in the heavens and earth exalt Allah. He is the Almighty, the Wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He giveth life and He causeth to die; and He is over everything Potent. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days; then He established Himself on the Throne. He knoweth whatsoever plungeth into the earth and whatsoever cometh forth therefrom, and whatsoever descendeth from the heaven and whatsoever ascendeth thereto; and He is with you wheresoever ye be. And Allah is of whatsoever ye work a Beholder. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned. 5 He makes the night grow longer by shortening the day, and makes the day grow longer by shortening the night; and He has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men]. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger and spend (in charity) of that which He has made you successors. Whosoever of you believes and spends shall have a mighty wage. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 It is He who sends down splendent revelations to His votary that he may take you out of darkness into light; for surely God is gracious and kind to you. 9 And why do you not spend in the cause of Allah while to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allah has promised the best [reward]. And Allah, with what you do, is Acquainted. 10
