Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify God. He is Majestic and All-wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He giveth life and He causeth to die; and He is over everything Potent. 2 He is the First and the Last, the Outward and the Inward; He has knowledge of everything. 3 He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and willed to the Throne. He knows what penetrates the earth and all that emerges from it; all that descends from heaven and all that ascends to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees the things you do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and to Allah are (all) affairs returned. 5 He causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night, and he is Knowing of that within the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and in His Messenger and expend of what He has entrusted to you. A great reward awaits those of you who believe and spend their wealth. 7 Why is it that you do not believe in Allah, when the Messenger calls on you to believe in your Lord, and He has made a covenant with you if you are believers? 8 He it is Who sendeth down unto His bondman manifest signs that He may bring you forth from darknesses into the light; and verily Allah is unto you Tender, Merciful. 9 How is it that you do not expend in the Way of Allah when to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting before the Victory cannot be equated (with those who spent their wealth and took part in fighting afterwards). They are higher in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to each Allah has promised a good reward. Allah is well aware of all that you do. 10
