۞ Do you not see those who took for friends a people whom Allah is wroth with? They neither belong to you nor you to them. They swear to a falsehood, and they do so knowingly. 14 Allah hath prepared for them a dreadful doom. Evil indeed is that which they are wont to do. 15 They use their oaths as a shield therefore preventing from Allah’s way – so for them is a disgraceful punishment. 16 There will not avail them against Allah their riches or their children at all. They are the fellows of the Fire; therein they will be abiders. 17 On the day God raises them all up from the dead, they will swear to Him just as they have sworn to you, thinking that they are on firm ground. But surely they are liars. 18 The Satan hath overpowered them, and so hath caused them to forget the remembrance of Allah. These are the band of the Satan. Lo! verily it is the Satan's band that shall be the losers. 19 Surely those who oppose God and His Messenger, those are among the most abject. 20 God has decreed, "I and My Messenger shall certainly triumph." God is All-powerful and Majestic. 21 You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the latter day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and His Apostle, even though they were their (own) fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk; these are they into whose hearts He has impressed faith, and whom He has strengthened with an inspiration from Him: and He will cause them to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein; Allah is well-pleased with them and they are well-pleased with Him these are Allah's party: now surely the party of Allah are the successful ones. 22
