۞ Hast thou not regarded those who have taken for friends a people against whom God is wrathful? They belong neither to you nor to them; and they swear upon falsehood, and that wittingly. 14 God has reserved a severe punishment for them. Evil indeed are the things they do! 15 they have made their oaths a cover [for their falseness,] and thus they turn others away from the path of God: hence, shameful suffering awaits them. 16 Neither their possessions nor their offspring will be of any avail to them against Allah. They are the people of the Fire; therein they shall abide. 17 On the day that Allah will raise them up all, then they will swear to Him as they swear to you, and they think that they have something; now surely they are the liars. 18 The Shaitan has gained the mastery over them, so he has made them forget the remembrance of Allah; they are the Shaitan's party; now surely the Shaitan's party are the losers. 19 Indeed those who oppose Allah and His Noble Messenger, are among the most despicable. 20 Allah has decreed: "It is I and My messengers who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength, able to enforce His Will. 21 You (O Muhammad SAW) will not find any people who believe in Allah and the Last Day, making friendship with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kindred (people). For such He has written Faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with Ruh (proofs, light and true guidance) from Himself. And We will admit them to Gardens (Paradise) under which rivers flow, to dwell therein (forever). Allah is pleased with them, and they with Him. They are the Party of Allah. Verily, it is the Party of Allah that will be the successful. 22
