Believers! Fear God, and let every soul look to what it lays up for the future. Fear God: God is aware of what you do. 18 Do not be like those who forget about God. He will make them forget themselves. These are the sinful people. 19 The people of the Fire and the people of Paradise are not equal. The people of Paradise are the victorious ones. 20 If We had sent down this Qur'an to a mountain you would have seen it turn desolate and split into two for fear of God. We offer these examples to men that they may think and reflect. 21 He is God; there is no god but He, the knower of the unknown and the known. He is the benevolent, ever-merciful. 22 He is God; there is no god but He, the King, the Holy, the Preserver, Protector, Guardian, the Strong, the Powerful, Omnipotent. Far too exalted is God for what they associate with Him. 23 It is Allah only, Who is the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer of all – His only are all the good names; all whatever is in the heavens and in the earth proclaims His Purity; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 24
