Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God, the King, the All-holy, the All-mighty, the All-wise. 1 He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Quran, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad SAW). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error; 2 and others who have not yet joined, and He will give them wisdom. Before this they had been in plain error. God is Majestic and All-wise. 3 That is the bounty of Allah; which He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is of Infinite Bounty. 4 Those who were charged with bearing the Torah, but did not do so are like an ass carrying a load of books. How unfortunate are those who belie the sign of God. God does not guide the wrongdoers. 5 Say: 'O you who are Jews, if you claim that of all people, you alone are the guided by Allah, then long for death if you are truthful' 6 But never will they long for it, because [they are aware] of what their hands have wrought in this world; and God has full knowledge of evildoers. 7 Tell them: “The death from which you flee will certainly overtake you. Then you will be returned to Him Who fully knows what is hidden and what is manifest. Thereupon He will let you know all that you used to do.” 8
