Friday (Al-Jumu'ah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ All whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth proclaims the Purity of Allah, the King, the Most Pure, the Most Honourable, the Wise. 1 It is He who has sent to the illiterate a Messenger from among their own people to recite to them His revelations and purify them. He will teach the Book to them 2 Along with others of them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 3 Such is the Bounty of Allah, which He bestows on whom He will: and Allah is the Lord of the highest bounty. 4 The example of those who were entrusted with the Taurat, and did not carry out its commands, is like the donkey carrying books; what a wretched example is of the people who denied the signs of Allah; and Allah does not guide the unjust. 5 Say: 'O you who are Jews, if you claim that of all people, you alone are the guided by Allah, then long for death if you are truthful' 6 They will never wish for it, because of what their hands have sent forward. God has full knowledge of evil-doers. 7 Say: "The Death from which ye flee will truly overtake you: then will ye be sent back to the Knower of things secret and open: and He will tell you (the truth of) the things that ye did!" 8
