Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God. His is the Kingdom, and His is the praise, and He is powerful over everything. 1 It is He Who has created you; and of you are some that are Unbelievers, and some that are Believers: and Allah sees well all that ye do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth in truth and He shaped you and gave you good shapes. To Him is the arrival. 3 He knows what is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows what ye conceal and what ye reveal: yea, Allah knows well the (secrets) of (all) hearts. 4 Hath not the story reached you of those who disbelieved of old and so did taste the ill-effects of their conduct, and theirs will be a painful doom. 5 this, because time and again there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, but they [always] replied, "Shall mere mortal men be our guides?" And so they denied the truth and turned away. But God was not in need [of them]: for God is self-sufficient, ever to be praised. 6 The unbelievers assert that they will never be raised up. Say: 'Yes indeed, by my Lord! You shall be raised up, then you shall be told the things you did. That is easy for God.' 7 So believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Qur'an which We have sent down. And Allah is Acquainted with what you do. 8 On the day that He will gather you for the day of gathering, that is the day of loss and gain; and whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will remove from him his evil and cause him to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein forever; that is the great achievement. 9 But those who denied the truth and rejected Our signs shall be the inmates of the Fire, there to remain -- what an evil destination! 10
