Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth extols Allah's glory. His is the sovereignty and to Him is all praise due; He has power over everything. 1 It is He who created you. Amongst you is an unbeliever and amongst you is a believer. Allah sees the things you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with deliberation, and gave you form, and shaped you well; and to Him is your returning. 3 He knoweth all that is in the heavens and the earth, and He knoweth what ye conceal and what ye publish. And Allah is Aware of what is in the breasts (of men). 4 Have you not heard about those who denied the truth before you and tasted the evil consequences of their conduct? They will have a painful punishment. 5 This was so because their apostles came to them with clear proofs, but they said: "What. Can a mortal show us the way?" And they denied and turned away; but God was unconcerned. God is all-sufficient, worthy of praise. 6 The disbelievers have thought that they would never be resurrected (Muhammad). Say, "I swear by my Lord that you will certainly be resurrected and will be told about all that you have done." All this is certainly very easy for God. 7 Therefore believe in Allah and His Apostle and the Light which We have revealed; and Allah is Aware of what you do. 8 The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. 9 As for those who have disbelieved and rejected Our revelations, they will dwell forever in hell fire, a terrible fate. 10
