No calamity befalls unless God dispenses. He guides the heart of whosoever believes in God; and God has knowledge of everything. 11 Obey Allah and obey the Messenger. But, if you turn away, Our Messenger's duty is only to deliver the Clear Message. 12 God is the only Lord and in Him the believers should trust. 13 O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 14 Your property and children are a trial for you, but the reward (which one may receive from God) is great. 15 so be mindful of God as best as you can; and listen, and obey; and spend in charity: it is for your own good. Those who guard themselves against their own greed will surely prosper: 16 If you lend to Allah a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allah's Cause) He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allah is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing, 17 The knower of the unknown and the known, all-mighty and all-wise. 18
