Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2
No affliction falls except by the permission of Allah. For those who believe in Allah, Allah will guide his heart. Allah has knowledge of all things. 11 And obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification. 12 Allah there is no god but He; in Allah should the believers put all their trust. 13 Believers, some of your wives and children may prove to be your enemies so beware of them. However, if you would pardon, ignore and forgive, know that God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 14 Your wealth and your children are just a test; and with Allah is a tremendous reward. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If ye lend unto Allah a goodly loan, He will multiply it unto you and will forgive you; and Allah is Appreciator, Forbearing. 17 Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 18
