Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2

No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 Obey Allah and obey His messenger; but if ye turn away, then the duty of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. 12 Allah, there is no god except He. In Allah let the believers put their trust. 13 O believers, among your wives and children there is an enemy to you; so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and if you forgive, surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 14 Your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation, whereas with God there is a tremendous reward. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 if you give a good loan to God, He will multiply it for you and forgive you, for God is appreciative and forbearing; 17 Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise. 18

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
