No calamity befalls unless God dispenses. He guides the heart of whosoever believes in God; and God has knowledge of everything. 11 Obey Allah and obey His messenger; but if ye turn away, then the duty of Our messenger is only to convey (the message) plainly. 12 Allah, there is no god but He; and upon Allah, then, let the believers rely. 13 Believers, there are enemies to you from among your spouses and your off-spring, so beware of them. But if you forgive and overlook their offences and pardon them, then surely Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate. 14 Your wealth and your children are just a test; and with Allah is a tremendous reward. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 If ye lend unto Allah a goodly loan, He will double it for you and will forgive you, for Allah is Responsive, Clement, 17 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind - the Almighty, the Wise! 18
