Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion of the Universe, and Who has power over everything; 1 Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving, 2 Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" 3 Yea, turn thy vision [upon it] again and yet again: [and every time] thy vision will fall back upon thee, dazzled and truly defeated. 4 We have adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and We made them a stoning for the satans, We have prepared the punishment of the Blaze for them. 5 For those who believe not in their Lord there is the punishment of Hell; and what a wretched destination 6 When they are cast into it they shall hear it sighing, while it boils 7 Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you?" 8 They will say, "Yes, someone did come to warn us, but we rejected him saying, 'God has revealed nothing. You are in great error". 9 They will say: 'If we had only listened and understood, we would not be among the inmates of the Blazing Fire.'” 10 and thus they will confess their sin; far from God's mercy are the inmates of Hell. 11 As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. 12 Whether you speak in secret or aloud, He knows what is in every heart. 13 How could it be that He who has created [all] should not know [all]? Yea, He alone is unfathomable [in His wisdom,] aware! 14
