Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blest be He in whose hand is the dominion, and He is over everything Potent. 1 Who hath created life and death that He may try you which of you is best in conduct; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving, 2 He Who created the seven heavens one above another: No want of proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious. So turn thy vision again: seest thou any flaw? 3 Then return thy gaze again, and again, and thy gaze comes back to thee dazzled, aweary. 4 And We adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and made them things to stone Satans; and We have prepared for them the chastisement of the Blaze. 5 And for those who disbelieved in their Lord, is the punishment of hell; and what a wretched outcome! 6 They will hear it hissing when they will be thrown into it, and it is boiling. 7 As if about to explode with rage; whenever a group is thrown into it, the guardians of hell will ask them, “Did not a Herald of Warning come to you?” 8 They will say: yea! surely there came a warner unto us, but we belied, and said: God hath not sent down aught, we are naught but in a great error. 9 They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!" 10 So now they admit their sins! Therefore accursed be the people of hell! 11 As for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. 12 And whether you speak softly or proclaim it aloud; He indeed knows what lies within the hearts! 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
