It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Are ye secure that He who is in the heaven will not sink the earth with you and then it should quake? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 Those before them had also denied. And how was My punishment then! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception. 20 Or who is this that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? No, but they persist in disdain and aversion. 21 What, is he who walks, falling upon his face, more guided than he who walks upright on a Straight Path! 22 Say: "It is He who raised you and gave you ears and eyes and hearts. How little are the thanks you offer!" 23 Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". 24 But they say: "When will this promise come to pass, if what you say is true?" 25 Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner; 26 But when they see it approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call." 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: 'He is the Merciful. In Him we believe and in Him we put all our trust. Indeed, you shall soon know who is in clear error' 29 Say: "See ye?- If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?" 30
