It is He who has made the earth submissive to you. Walk about in its land and eat of His provision. To Him is the Resurrection. 15 Are you so unafraid that He who is in Heaven will not open up the earth to swallow you, when it will begin to tremble? 16 Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning. 17 And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval. 18 Have they, then, never beheld the birds above them, spreading their wings and drawing them in? None but the Most Gracious upholds them: for, verily, He keeps all things in His sight. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 Is he who walks without seeing on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks on a Straight Way (i.e. Islamic Monotheism). 22 Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks. 23 Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." 24 They ask: 'When will this promise come, if you speak truthfully' 25 Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner. 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: 'He is the All-merciful. We believe in Him, and in Him we put all our trust. Assuredly, you will soon, know who is in manifest error. 29 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Tell me! If (all) your water were to be sunk away, who then can supply you with flowing (spring) water?" 30
