He it is who has made the earth easy to live upon: go about, then, in all its regions, and partake the sustenance which He provides: but [always bear in mind that] unto Him you shall be resurrected. 15 Are you secure of those in the heaven that He should not make the earth to swallow you up? Then lo! it shall be in a state of commotion. 16 Or have you become unafraid of the One Who controls the heavens, that He will not send a torrent of stones upon you? So now you will realise, how My warning turned out! 17 Those that were before them also cried lies; then how was My horror! 18 Do they not see the birds above them flying wings spread out or folded? Nothing holds them aloft but God. All things are within His purview. 19 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 20 Or who is such that will give you sustenance if Allah stops His sustenance? In fact they persist in rebellion and hatred. 21 Is he who walks without seeing on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks on a Straight Way (i.e. Islamic Monotheism). 22 Say: He it is Who brought you into being and made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts: little is it that you give thanks. 23 Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered." 24 And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled, if ye say sooth? 25 Say, "God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner." 26 But when they will see it (the torment on the Day of Resurrection) approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be different (black, sad, and in grieve), and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise) which you were calling for!" 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say: 'He is the Merciful. In Him we believe and in Him we put all our trust. Indeed, you shall soon know who is in clear error' 29 Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?" 30
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
