He it is Who hath made the earth unto you subservient, so go forth in the regions thereof, and eat of His provision. And unto Him is the Resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to swallow you up while it shakes? 16 Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not let loose upon you a storm of stones? Then shall you know what My warning is like! 17 And certainly those before them rejected (the truth), then how was My disapproval. 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly (Allah) Most Gracious: Truly it is He that watches over all things. 19 Who is there to defend you like an army, besides the Lord of Mercy? Those who deny the truth are in deception. 20 Who is there to give you food in case He withholds His bounty? Yet they persist in rebellion and aversion. 21 Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? 22 Say: 'It is He who has created you and given to you hearing, sight and hearts but little is it that you thank' 23 Say thou: He it is Who hath spread you over the earth, and unto Him ye shall be gathered. 24 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 25 Say: The knowledge is with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner; 26 When they will see it near at hand, the faces of all those who had denied it will be distraught, and then they will be told: “This is the doom which you used to ask for.” 27 Say, [O Muhammad], "Have you considered: whether Allah should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?" 28 Say, "He is the Most Gracious: we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him. You will soon come to know who is in evident error." 29 Say: "Just think: If your water were to dry up in the morning who will bring you water from a fresh, flowing stream?" 30
