He it is Who hath made the earth unto you subservient, so go forth in the regions thereof, and eat of His provision. And unto Him is the Resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that He Who is in the heaven will not cause the earth to cave in with you, and then suddenly it will begin to rock violently? 16 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not strike you with a sandstorm? You will soon know, with the coming of the torment, how serious Our warning was. 17 And assuredly those before them belied; then what wise hath been My wrath! 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Or who is it that will be a host for you to assist you besides the Beneficent Allah? The unbelievers are only in deception. 20 Who is he that can provide for you, should He withhold His provision? Aye! they persists in perverseness and aversion. 21 Is he who goeth groping on his face more rightly guided, or he who walketh upright on a straight road? 22 Say: "It is He who raised you and gave you ears and eyes and hearts. How little are the thanks you offer!" 23 Say, "It is God who has settled you on the earth and to Him you will be resurrected". 24 And they say: when will this promise be fulfilled, if ye say sooth? 25 Say: The knowledge (thereof is only with Allah and I am only a plain warner. 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 Say: 'What think you? If God destroys me and those with me, or has mercy on us, then who will protect the unbelievers from a painful chastisement?' 28 Say, "He is the Most Gracious: we believe in Him and we put our trust in Him. You will soon come to know who is in evident error." 29 Say, "Have you considered if your water were to sink into the ground, who could then bring you flowing water?" 30
