Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have ye Covenants with Us to oath, reaching to the Day of Judgment, (providing) that ye shall have whatever ye shall demand? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the Day when the truth shall be laid bare, they will be called upon to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do so. 42 humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. 43 Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Quran, Verse 21:87). 48 [And remember:] had not grace from his Sustainer reached him, he would indeed have been cast forth upon that barren shore in a state of disgrace: 49 But his Lord exalted him, and included him among His righteous servants. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
