The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 or should We, perchance, treat those who surrender themselves unto Us as [We would treat] those who remain lost in sin? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or have they, perchance, any sages to support their views? Well, then, if they are sincere in this their claim, let them produce those supporters of theirs 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 and I shall respite them -- assuredly My guile is sure. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 But wait thou for thy Lord's decree, and be not like him of the fish, who cried out in despair. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
