Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Or have you a Book in which you read 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 Or have they other partners [besides God]? Let them bring forth their other partners, if what they say be true. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 Be patient thou, then, with thy Lord's judgment, and be thou not like him of the fish, when he cried out while he was in anguish. 48 Had the favor of his Lord not come upon him, he would have been blamed, cast upon the shore. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
