The pious ones will receive a beautiful Paradise from their Lord. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That indeed for you is whatever you choose? 38 Do you have a covenant with Us which allows you to do whatever you want until the Day of Judgment? 39 Ask them, which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or, do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if what they say is true! 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 And I bear with them; verily My contrivance is sure. 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 When those who deny the truth hear the admonition, they would almost cause you to stumble with their evil eyes; and they say, "He is certainly mad." 51 And it is naught but a reminder to the nations. 52
