Verily for the God-fearing, are with their Lord Gardens of Delight. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or is it that they have partners in worship? So they should bring their appointed partners, if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the dreadful calamity will unfold, when people will be summoned to prostrate themselves, and yet they will not be able to prostrate. 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Do you demand some recompense from them that would weigh them down with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 Be patient thou, then, with thy Lord's judgment, and be thou not like him of the fish, when he cried out while he was in anguish. 48 Had there not overtaken him a blessing from his Lord he would have been cast upon the wilderness, being condemned. 49 And his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; 51 While it is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 52
