Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 or should We, perchance, treat those who surrender themselves unto Us as [We would treat] those who remain lost in sin? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Is there with you a Book wherein ye study: 37 and in which you find all that you may wish to find? 38 Or is it that you have a covenant from Us, right up to the Day of Judgement, that you will get all what you claim? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 On the Day when the leg shall be bared, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 And I bear with them; verily My contrivance is sure. 45 Or is it that thou dost ask them for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 46 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 47 Therefore wait for your Lord’s command, and do not be like the one of the fish; who cried out when he was distraught. (Prophet Yunus – peace be upon him.) 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord chose him as His Prophet and made him one of the righteous ones. 50 When the unbelievers hear the Reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: 'Surely, he is mad' 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
