Verily, for the Righteous, are Gardens of Delight, in the Presence of their Lord. 34 Should We treat those who submit and obey in the same way as those who are culpable? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Do you have a book from which you study 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if they speak truly. 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; and indeed they used to be called to prostrate themselves whilst they were healthy. 43 Therefore leave the one who denies this matter, to Me; We shall soon steadily take them away, from a place they do not know. 44 And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 47 Exercise patience until the promise of your Lord (to punish the unbelievers) comes true. Do not be like Jonah (who left his people without the permission of God; he wanted them to be punished immediately), 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 but [as it was,] his Sustainer had elected him and placed him among the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
