Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge you? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That you have surely therein what you choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them, which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or have they, perchance, any sages to support their views? Well, then, if they are sincere in this their claim, let them produce those supporters of theirs 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm. 45 Askest thou a hire from them so that they are laden with debt? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 Were it not for his Lord’s favour that reached him, he would have surely been cast onto the desolate land, reproached. 49 But his Lord had chosen him, and He placed him among the righteous. 50 And indeed the disbelievers seem as if they would topple you with their evil gaze when they hear the Qur’an, and they say, “He is indeed insane.” 51 But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 52
