Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Sure Reality! 1 What is the Indubitable? 2 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? 3 Samood and Ad called the striking calamity a lie. 4 Then as to Samood, they were destroyed by an excessively severe punishment. 5 and as for Ad, they were destroyed by a wind clamorous, 6 which He let loose upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession; so that (if you had been there) you might have seen people lying prostrate, as though they were uprooted trunks of hollowed palm trees. 7 Can you see any of their survivors? 8 Pharaoh likewise, and those before him, and the Subverted Cities -- they committed error, 9 and rebelled against their Sustainer's apostles: and so He took them to task with a punishing grasp exceedingly severe! 10 Verily when the water rose to great heights, We bore you upon a floating vessel (i.e. the Ark) 11 In order to make it a warning for you, and that the ear retentive may preserve it. 12 And when the trumpet is blown with a single blast, 13 and the earth and the mountains are lifted up and then crushed with a single blow, 14 So that is the day when the forthcoming event will occur. 15 And the heaven will split asunder, for that Day it (the heaven will be frail (weak), and torn up, 16 And the angels shall be on the borders thereof; and on that Day eight shall bear over them the Throne of thy Lord. 17 On that day all your secrets will be exposed. 18 So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record! 19 I was sure that the record of my deeds would be shown to me". 20 So he shall have an agreeable life 21 In a lofty Paradise, 22 its clusters nigh to gather. 23 Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past! 24 But he who is given his record in his left hand will say, "If only I had never been given my Record 25 and neither known this my account! 26 "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)! 27 My wealth has not helped me a thing 28 and my authority has vanished.” 29 (It will be said): "Seize him and fetter him, 30 Then into Hellfire drive him. 31 Fasten a chain to them - seventy cubits long - 32 Verily, He used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great, 33 And urged not on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor), 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; 36 which only the sinners will eat.” 37

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
