Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Inevitable Hour! 1 What is the Inevitable Calamity? 2 And what shall make thee know that which the Inevitable Calamity is. 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 The Thamuds were destroyed by a violent blast of sound. 5 And the 'Ad were destroyed by the furious cold blast of roaring wind 6 which God let loose against them for seven nights and eight days unremittingly, so that you could have seen its people lying prostrate as though they were the hollow trunks of palm-trees which had fallen down. 7 Can you see any remnant of them now? 8 And Firon and those before him and the overthrown cities continuously committed sins. 9 and they rebelled against the Messenger of their Lord, and He seized them with a surpassing grip. 10 And when the waters rose (high) We carried you in the sailing (Ark), 11 That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it. 12 So, when the Trumpet is blown with a single blast 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be borne and the twain shall be crushed with a single crash. 14 And so, that which must come to pass will on that day have come to pass; 15 And the heaven will split asunder, for that day it will be frail. 16 And the angels will be on its sides; and on that day, eight angels will carry the Throne of your Lord above them. 17 The Day whereon ye shall be mustered nothing hidden by you shall be hidden. 18 Then he that will be given his Record in his right hand will say: "Ah here! Read ye my Record! 19 Verily I was sure that I would be handed over my account.” 20 So he shall have an agreeable life 21 In a lofty Garden 22 The fruit clusters of which are hanging down. 23 (And told:) "Eat and drink to your fill as reward for (good) deeds you had done in days of yore." 24 As for him whose Record will be given to him in his left hand, he will exclaim: “Would that I had never been given my Record, 25 And I had not known what my account was: 26 Would that it (my death) had ended it all! 27 “My wealth did not in the least benefit me.” 28 My authority is gone away from me. 29 Seize him and fetter him, 30 and then roast him in Hell, 31 and then thrust him into a chain [of other sinners like him - a chain] the length whereof is seventy cubits: 32 Lo! He used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous, 33 "And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! 34 Wherefore for him here this Day there is no friend. 35 nor any food except foul pus 36 “Which none except the guilty shall eat.” 37

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
