So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and none of you could have saved him! 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify your Lord, the most supreme. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
