Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
