But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
