BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
