Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
