Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
