But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and what you do not see 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
