So I swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
