I swear by all that you can see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
