But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 And what you do not see, 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
