Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 not the speech of a poet. Little do you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
