Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And all that ye see not 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 and (on the Day of Judgment) this will be a great source of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
