But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he (Muhammad SAW) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), 44 We should certainly seize him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52
