Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what you do not see 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
