I swear by all that you can see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
