Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had Muhammad invented some words against Us. 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
